Who We Are
Glorious Ministries International was planted in 2008 by a group of pastors and leaders in the UAE.
We seek to build a community of followers of Christ, worshipping and committed to prayer, preaching and studying the Word of God, the celebration of sacraments, fellowshipping across gender, race, age, culture and class.
We want to together equip, love, give and grow Christians who will reach out with the good news of Jesus Christ, evangelizing the lost, ministering to those in need, and seeking justice for the oppressed.
What We Believe
About The Scriptures
We believe the Bible, consisting of 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, which is the only authoritative Word of God written by men who were inspired by the Spirit of God.
About God
We believe in one living true God, in the unity of the Godhead, having three personal distinctions – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, one in substance and equal in divine perfection.
About Jesus
We believe that Jesus Christ (the Son of God), became man born of the virgin Mary, miraculously conceived by the Holy Spirit to reveal God to mankind becoming the Savior of the lost. He exists eternally with the Father, lived a sinless life, was crucified and buried, resurrected bodily on the third day, appeared to his followers, and ascended into heaven where He is seated at the right hand of the Father.
About The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit (third person of the Trinity), proceeding from the Father and Son, is the giver of all life, agent of inspiration and the new birth. He restrains sin and Satan, and He indwells and sanctifies all believers. The Holy Spirit is manifested through spiritual gifts which can build the Church and should be used according to scriptures.
About Mankind
We believe all people were created in the image of God, to have fellowship with Him but became alienated in that relationship through disobedience falling into sin. Hence, people are incapable of regaining the right relationship with God through their own efforts.
About Salvation
We believe that each person can be saved only through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, through repentance of sin and by faith alone in Him as Saviour. God provides salvation as a free gift and not by human works to all who have faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus. The believer is declared righteous, born again by the Holy Spirit, turned from sin, made partaker of the divine nature and assured of heaven.
About The Church
We believe that the church is the body of Christ, who gather to worship, learn and fellowship under the discipline of the Word of God, carries out the great commission to evangelise, teach and administer the ordinances of believer’s baptism and the Lord’s Table.
About Christian Living
We believe all Christians should live by the obedience to the Word of God and yielding to the Spirit of God becoming mature and conformed to the image of Christ. Godly characteristics in us are revealed to everyone, through the fruits of the Holy Spirit which are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, showing the presence and work of the Holy Spirit in people’s lives.
